Work Smarter, Not Harder – Five Great Productivity Apps to Use Today
We’ve all been there – struggling to make it through a homework assignment, counting down the minutes until the end of the work day, or finding several tasks to complain about all the time. We cross one item off the list and can immediately find three more tasks to replace it. Having a huge list of pending work can definitely pull you down and make you not want to even start. However, there are now tons of new apps and programs available that can greatly help you in getting your work done, efficiently and successfully.
First up on the list is Tide, a beautiful and simple app that combines the time management method called Pomodoro, along with various samples of white noise or sounds.
Personally, using this app makes me feel very relaxed as well as competent. The Pomodoro technique is actually one used by many apps of this kind, as it was first developed in the 1980s. It basically shows one how to work in blocks of time, first spending 25 minutes immersed in your task, followed by a 5 minute break. This app is available on the App Store and Google Play.
Another app that really shines through with its efficiency is Evernote. This app is all-in-one: you can create tons of separate notebooks, keeping track of any and everything you wish.
Since I love making lists and getting my thoughts down, this app really helped me with organizing lists in different places. You can take photos of things you want to remember or buy, and add those to your digital notebooks as well. This app is available on the App Store and Google Play, as well as PC platforms.
A great app for college students is called Forest: I used this in college and it really made me aware of how important it is to stay focused and work smarter,
not harder. This is a very useful app: you get work done and also support a great cause. Here’s how it works: you use a timer to work in blocks of time,
similar to Tide. However, as you’re working, you are growing virtual trees in a digital forest on the app. You grow more trees the longer that you work, and the coins that you earn are actually used to plant real trees, as Forest partners with the nonprofit Trees for the Future. How amazing! This app is available on the App Store and Google Play.
An app that really caught my eye was Simple Habit Tracker, a way totrack your habits. Sounds strange, right? It’s interesting to see how our habits are formed, psychologically or subconsciously.
We all pick up “bad habits”, and these repetitive actions can be very destructive over the long run. This app helps you to realize what those bad habits are, and to change them. You can also record the good habits you have, to keep track of how long you accomplish them. This app is available on the App Store.
Last on our list, Trello is a productivity app that allows you to create multiple to-do lists. You can see what different projects you have to finish, and you can quickly prioritize what you need to do first versus last. Trello also allows you to schedule tasks to others who use the same app, making it easy for you to work with friends or colleagues. This app is available on the App Store and Google Play.

Game changing Virtual Reality (VR) from Android (Project Tango)
Virtual reality (VR) typically refers to computer technologies that use software to generate realistic images, sounds and other sensations that replicate a real environment (or create an imaginary setting), and simulate a user’s physical presence in this environment, by enabling the user to interact with this space and any objects depicted therein using specialized display screens or projectors and other devices. VR has been defined as “…a realistic and immersive simulation of a three-dimensional environment, created using interactive software and hardware, and experienced or controlled by movement of the body” or as an “immersive, interactive experience generated by a computer”.
A person using virtual reality equipment is typically able to “look around” the artificial world, move about in it and interact with features or items that are depicted on a screen or in goggles. Most 2016-era virtual realities are displayed either on a computer monitor, a projector screen, or with a virtual reality headset (also called head-mounted display or HMD). HMDs typically take the form of head-mounted goggles with a screen in front of the eyes. Programs may include audio and sounds through speakers or headphones. Virtual reality environment may be captured using 360° stereoscopic spherical video and 360×360 surround sound from professional VR video cameras.

Make America Great Again
Make America Great Again. That slogan has become almost as memorable as Nike’s Just Do it or Apple’s Think Different catch phrase. While people may have their point of view on that statement, the person who made the statement and their opinion on the validity of the statement – we at rsquare media are proud to support fellow new yorker and president elect Donald J Trump. Like President Elect Trump, RSquare Media is on a mission to make america great again through organic transformation by uplifting the lives of fellow citizens living in the towns of Long Island New York.
Rajiv Jadhav – CEO & Sales Director of RSquare Media has always wanted to help those in need. As the saying goes, give a man a fish – you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime. Rajiv Jadhav has held (and continues) to hold workshops and seminars to help people with their job search process by leveraging social media, the internet and common sense.
